The lawmaker reiterated that he has a focused mind to continue serving the electorates without fear or favour.

"I'm not going to succumb to criticism and propaganda being peddled around by some few individuals with selfish intentions. I wish to confirm the constituents that development is my priority," he said.

Mr. Oyioka argued that he will traverse the whole constituency to engage the people and get public views on development projects to be given priority.

He stated that there is no MCA from the four wards in the constituency who will dictate him on what he should do and not do.

"Ward reps should focus on using county funds being allocated to their respective wards to initiate projects and keep of constituency affairs. No one is going to lecture me on how I should allocate CDF funds for various projects," he added.

The legislator, however, maintained that he is willing to work closely with other leaders including those who vied against him during the 2017 polls for the sake of development in Bonchari.
