There are many ways to die in Kenya. However, there is this recent method of people posting their suicide notes on social media before taking their life. Unfortunately, Kenyans have not been taking such suicide notes serious.

Joki Sue took to Facebook with a suicide note. Kenyans have been shocked as the last time someone posting a suicide note he was found dead. Sue, a beautiful lady who, according to her pictures looks happy and smiley, claims to have had enough of fake things in her life.

“Behind every smile there is a very painful past, but ever wished u don’t want to exist anymore, coz trust me, when u have everything ,u have everyone by your side, but when u lose it all, even your own blood can betray you, I know how it feels, I’ve experienced that already. Don’t come to my grave crying asking God questions, just ask urself, did I play my role in her life, “did u even add any value. How I wish I could have left an offspring to represent me in this cruel world, but it's too late for that, forgive me ooh Lord!! Only for the wise,” she posted on Facebook.

As if this was not all. She wished her friends a good life and even thanked them for a good life they showed her.

“My last goodbye, thankful to those friends who stood by me no matter what.. I appreciate u, dearest “Nanu” my ever best friend… I know this will hurt you soo much, but I quit life. May Almighty God forgive me, but may he rest my soul in peace. Bye bye life. Much love.” She concluded.

Unfortunately, no one has come out to reveal her whereabouts or who she is. However, a section of Kibera residents offered their views on how she can be helped. Here are some of their views:

Mary Sofie: “I think people should reach out to whoever “Nanu” is. She is her friend and she might be knowing some vital information on Sue’s hideout.”

Peter Kamau: “It’s very bad that people have decided to give up on life. For Sue, she just needs someone to guide her. If she is found in good time and counseled, she will be okay.”

Agwan Gigi: “If at all people should respond to her post, then they should only be encouraging her not to give up with life. Otherwise, if we encourage her to take her life she will do it without thinking.”

Mama Otieno: “Sue should be located when we still have time. She is just a young girl who needs guidance and support in life.”

Pst. James Mweru: “God will protect her not to commit suicide. Social media has really taken over our youth’s lives and influencing them negatively.”
