Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi has now publicly accused President Uhuru Kenyatta of being biased in his fight against corruption.
Through a letter to the Head of State posted on his official Facebook page, Sudi has claimed that President Kenyatta is targeting specific community and individuals.
He gave examples of former immediate Kenya Power managing director Ken Tarus and his Kenya Pipeline counterpart Joe Sang, both of who lost their jobs as a result of corruption allegations.
According to Sudi, the two who are from the Kalenjin community were forced out of office and charged for corruption yet individuals, from another community, who approved the deals in question were never charged.
"You orchestrated the prosecution of one Joe Sang of Kenya Pipeline over a fuel jetty in Kisumu, whose construction was instructed by Joseph Kinyua to the chair of the Board, Mr John Ngumi. Joe Sang was implementing instructions of the board chaired by the said Ngumi. John Ngumi cannot be prosecuted because he is your man, not to mention Joseph Kinyua," reads part of Sudi's post.
“My friend, it doesn't require rocket science for anybody to see that your so-called fight against corruption targeted at individuals and a community, contrary to your assertions. I respectfully ask you to be man enough and declare war openly on the people you consider your enemies instead of hiding behind the facade of corruption theatrics," added the vocal MP.
Sudi, a close ally of Deputy President further wondered why advance payments made for Arror and Kimwarer dams were the only ones being questioned yet similar arrangements had been done for Thwake dam in Makueni and Karumenu dam in Kiambu, all of which no work has started.
