Sky News, a British broadcaster, has pulled down a story it covered concerning a Kenyan man who fell from a plane in London.
The pulled down story had identified the man as Paul Manyasi, and noted that he was 29 years old.
The story was published on 30th June this year, and it contained pictures believed to be of the man who fell from the Kenya Airways plane.
However, when you try to access the story from the Sky News website, it is no longer available.
“We're sorry. The page you are looking for cannot be found. You may have followed a broken or outdated link, or there may be an error on our site,” reads a prompt from the website's link of the story.
There have been no comments from Sky News on why the story was pulled down.
However, it is believed that the story was pulled down after the owner of the photos used in the story emerged claiming that he is still alive and well.
The owner of the photos, Cedric Isaac Shivonje, is in at Kamiti Prison serving a sentence after failing to pay an Sh200,000 fine for a mistake he committed.
Speaking to Daily Nation, Cedric said that the pictures used in the story of a man who fell from a plane are his, but he was not the one who actually fell from the plane.
“I am alive, as you can see,” he said as quoted by Daily Nation.
