Bishop Harrison Ng’ang’a, of Christian Foundation Fellowship in his usual soft-spoken trademark, left mourners, including President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto, in stitches during the burial of Joseph Kamaru in Murang’a.

Ng’ang’a was the man of the day during the burial as he thrilled mourners while dissecting a scripture he delivered during the sermon.

For reasons known to him, the Bishop chose 1 Corinthians 6:9-10.

It says: "Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God".

But it is the Bishop’s interpretation that left the President and his deputy hurting their ribs after a heavy laughter.

Ng’ang’a said that any man who has more than one 'woman' will not see the Kingdom, so is to men who marry each other or girls who ‘steal’ peoples’ husbands.

The man of cloth also said those who take ‘tusker’ will find gates to heaven closed.

In every example he gave, it was so artistic that the crowd broke into laughter.

Many are times when the head of state and his deputy were captured wiping tears after laughing so hard.

When Ruto rose to speak, he said they had exchanged with the President and agreed to change their ways in order to go to heaven.

"I want to assure the bishop that we shall do everything to ensure we don't miss heaven. We shall do all the things that you have said so that we can be on the list," he said sending the mourners into stitches.

When the President finally got to the dais to address the mourners, he also showed that the sermon had sunk.

"Ruto aliniambia kama mahubiri ni kama haya nimesikia yakihubiriwa hapa, imetutia wasi wasi kidogo juu ya safari ya kwenda binguni, kwa sababu inaonekana watu wengi sana watabaki huku," Uhuru said.
