With the fight against corruption in the country not slowing down any time soon, President Uhuru Kenyatta has been hailed by many Kenyans for his ruthless approach to tackle the vice that has tainted the country's image.
While commending the President's latest no-nonsense approach hat has seen the mighty spend nights in police cells, Garissa Township MP Aden Duale said that the Head of State who is serving his second and final term cannot afford to succumb to political machinations.
According to Duale, the President is keen on building his legacy so that he can be remembered as the man who took corruption and impunity head-on without blinking.
"Now serving his last term, Uhuru cannot be a victim of political machinations and has seen the opportunity to shock the political elite by destroying the kingdom of impunity and corruption," said the National Assembly Majority leader.
Buoyed by the 'bad news' new Director of Public Prosecutions, Noordin Haji, the war on corruption has has gained unstoppable momentum with the political class not spared.
With many corruption cases currently handled by the judiciary, the President means business and anybody who dares cross his path will face it rough.
