National Lands Commission chairman Mohammed Swazuri and Kenya Railways Managing Director Atanas Maina are currently in court facing charges of misappropriating Sh221 million for SGR compensation.

The individuals were arrested over the weekend regarding compensation of landowners who paved way for the construction of the Standard Gauge Railway.
