A man is yet to come to terms after he allegedly busted his cheating wife red-handed in the act with another man on Thursday morning.
The incident happened in Nyakongo village, Mosocho in Kisii County.
Joseph Moindi a night security guard at a local coffee factory said he returned home early than his wife's expectation only to find her naked with another man in the act.
"I called my wife Agnes Nyanchama's phone at 5 am but, no one was picking up. I rushed home quickly since I suspected something fishy was going on. I was shocked when I found her naked with a man in bed having sex," he said.
Moindi said he tried to attack the man in vain.
"The man managed to escape through the window which was open. I turned to my wife and beat her thoroughly before neighbours responded to her screams," he said.
Locals wondered why Agnes decided to bring a man to her house.
"We are in shock with her decision to bring the man into the house knowing that her husband could return anytime from work," said a local Immaculate Nyaboke.
Area chief Bernard Angwenyi said the woman has since refused to reveal the identity of the man who she was having sex with.
"Agnes despite the thorough beating from her husband, she is yet to reveal the identity of the man who she was having sex with," said the chief.
Mr. Angwenyi warned married women against having illicit love affairs. He said elders chased Agnes with her 2 kids to her parents' home in Manga.
