NTV's entertainment show 'The Trend' has been repackaged from the graphics to the content.
The show that unveiled its new look on Friday for the first time will now comprise six segments.
According to NTV's head of television, Justus Tharao, the move is focused on making an impact on top issues affecting the society apart from just being an entertainment show.
“We want the show to be more of an edutainment and have a good impact to the viewer,” stated Tharao.
Among the new segments unveiled include a hero's corner that will see the fans listen to candid interviews from guests who have made a positive impact in the society.
Other new segments introduced include street karaoke, meme, jam of the week, third world problems, interviews, and games.
The trending show which was a brainchild of the former station's news anchor Larry Madowo is now hosted by radio queen and Tv siren Amina Abdi Rabar.
Larry Madowo has since been poached by BBC.
