A major political clash is looming between supporters of Deputy President William Ruto and those of ODM over the faction millionaire businessman Don Bosco Gichana should support.
Minority whip George Mosiori, with just a week to Bosco's homecoming in Gusii stadium after six years spell in Tanzania prison, insisted that Bosco will join Jubilee.
"It's been such a struggle and you're finally at home. Welcome to Jubilee, your home forever. You're truly a giant," he wrote.
Mr. Gichana, who pleaded guilty to money laundering and fraud at Tanzania, was slapped with five years sentence on top of Sh15 million fine.
And the ODM team, which hugely takes credit for his release, believe it's immature for Mr. Gichana, who commands huge following in Nyamira and Kisii Counties, to make pronouncements.
"I know Don Bosco is popular and his future is bright. However, I want him to take his time because the Kenya of five years ago is not the same Kenya under Jubilee," warned ODM blogger Vincent Osumo.
Mr. Bosco admits of getting aide from both Raila and Ruto towards raising Sh15 million fine a couple of weeks ago.
For Ruto's camp, Kapsaret MP Oscar Sudi, a close family friend, has been lobbying to have the youthful politician on their camp.
