If you walk around and listen to love testimonies of people you will be shocked at how meeting the person you love can be mysterious. However, despite this mystery, there are places you should never walk expecting to find the love of your life.
Club
This is a place where people get to pass time during weekends and “waste” themselves at least for a while. I am not ruling out that possibility of meeting your dream partner. Though, most people here don’t mean the so many things they will promise, most people here are clandestine and then they are really not into you that much.
Concerts
The big events that are usually created at landmark places such as the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), Ngong’ Race Course, The Carnivore or in a sports ground in Mombasa or Eldoret bring many people together. The so-called “team mafisi” will be around lusting on gorgeous women. Don’t be fooled that this is love, it is just an opportunity to have a good time and show off on Instagram that at least you had a good time, don’t let it get into your heart.
Public parks
If you have been to Nairobi’s major parks, Uhuru Park, Central Park, Uhuru Gardens on Lang’ata Road or even the skate park on Harambee Avenue you will notice how idle people can be. However, most of these people are men. If you get to these places, probably you are going there to relax, let that be your purpose and matters of love keep them to your heart.
