Migori senatorial aspirant Ochilo Ayacko apparently has everything he needs to grab a win in the approaching by-election.
Above all, the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) is enjoying support from the regions political kingpin Raila Odinga who also doubles up as the party leader.
Further, vying on a national and well established party, Ayacko must have had all the needed resources, and is expected to have maximized on the same to fully facilitate his campaigns.
He is as well enjoying the support of majority of other leaders hailing from the county, most of whom have been seen drumming up support for his bid lately.
These include the likes of Suna East lawmaker Junet Mohammed and his Suba South counterpart John Mbadi, both of whom are popular and enjoy massive support at the grassroot level.
Having been elected to the Rongo parliamentary seat in the past, he is expected to have put similar strategies he used at that time to make a political comeback.
To top it off, he is facing rather weak and unknown opponents, led by 27-year old Eddy Oketch of the little-known Federal Party of Kenya (FPK), making the race his to lose.
Therefore, he is expected to emerge the winner in the much anticipated by election, set for October 8.
The seat fell vacant after the death of Ben Oluoch in June.
