Anti-terror police probing the Tuesday terror attack at Dusit D2 hotel complex in Nairobi raided a hotel in Kitui Town on Saturday as investigations into the attack intensified.
As reported by Kenyans.co.ke, the investigators raided Parkside Villa hotel early Saturday morning.
The investigators arrested three foreigners and a Kenyan at the hotel.
The four are now being held for questioning in Nairobi.
The Dusit D2 terror attack left 21 people dead and others injured.
On Wednesday, President Uhuru Kenyatta said that all the six terrorists who stormed the Dusit complex were killed by security forces.
The President said that those who participated in planning the attack will be hunted down and dealt with accordingly.
He assured Kenyans and visitors of their security, urging them to remain vigilant.
On Friday, a Magistrate court sitting in Nairobi granted detectives 30 days to detain five suspects who are in custody over the Dusit D2 attack.
Politicians across the political divide condemned the Dusit attack, urging Kenyans to unite against terrorism.
Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua and her Kitui counterpart Charity Ngilu condemned the attack and condoled with families and friends of the victims.
