Deputy President William Ruto has asked Gusii leaders not to be 'seduced' by the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga ahead of the 2022 general elections.
Ruto, speaking on Saturday when he joined Worshipersat Nyachogochogo SDA Church in Nyaribari Chache constituency, Kisii County maintained that Raila is 'old' and should join his age mates to enjoy pension.
"This man is tired. He should be given a break to rest and enjoy his pension well. I am therefore, calling on Gusii leaders not to be 'hoaxed' by old style of politics he (Raila) has been playing," said Ruto.
The second in command reiterated that currently the Jubilee government is working around the clock to develop the country towards realizing the Big 4 Agendas.
Ruto confirmed no one is going to force him out of Jubilee ahead of the 2022 elections.
"Anyone who plans to kick me out of Jubilee party is day dreaming. I am not going anywhere and I'm committed to help my boss serve Kenyans as we promised during the last year's polls," he said.
