A man in Eldoret town was on Monday beaten up by his wife for allegedly trying to seduce her best friend.
The man, Ronald Kipkorir is said to have made a move on Eunice Cherotich who is not only a friend to his wife but also a colleague.
However, it was unfortunate to the man after the lady went ahead and told his wife about the husband hitting on her.
After the wife, Elizabeth Nyabera, was informed about her husband's adulterous behaviour, she angrily rushed from work to her home in the company of the lady to confront the husband.
The wife later scolded and beat up her husband, an incident that happened at an apartment at Talai market in Moi University attracting the attention of neighbours.
"He has been hitting on me for several weeks now. I tried turning him down but he was so persistent. I was left with no other option but to tell the wife about it," Cherotich said.
"The husband is unemployed and so his wife is the one who usually provides for him. That is the reason why she was extremely angry," she added.
After being beaten and scolded for almost a half an hour, the husband who had initially denied the claims, finally admitted that he had tried to woo the lady.
He begged for forgiveness but the wife who could not hear any of it ended the relationship and threw the man out of the house saying she could no longer host a cheat.
