Mutie On Saturday in a phone conversation with this writer termed the legislator's remakes as reckless talks indicating fear of the unknown.

The MCA went ahead to state that he is not apologetic for declaring interest in the parliamentary seat since it's his constitutional right.

He said that his main aim was to encourage youth leaders to vie for various seats and for the MP to publicly attack him was very low for a respected leader like her.

"As a youthful leader I have time and again looked out for the interests of the youths, the youths take up to 70% of Kenya's population and there's a need for them to be encouraged to harbour viable dreams," said Mutie.

"I'm not ashamed nor apologetic for declaring my wish to run for Kibwezi east parliamentary seat, it's my constitutional right," he added.

He observed that his development scorecard lies with the electorate and his work for the time he has been an MCA is an indication he can be a great MP.

He noted that the MP has no right whatsoever to lecture him on what seats he should vie for since the real employers are the electorate and no seat belongs to an individual.

Also, he said that the lawmaker's declaration of wishing to stay on the position for forty years is meant to intimidate the youths wishing to vie for political seats.

"No political seat is a reserve of anyone and her talk of sticking to the seat for 40 years was just but hot air and an attempt to intimidate the youths who dares to dream big and aspire for these seats.

While Voters are the ultimate answers to any political seat seekers, God is the custodian of the future, "he said.

He urged Mbalu to encourage the youth to assume active roles in our society instead of intimidating them citing that democracy allows one to pursue dreams as long as he or she can deliver as mandated.
