Migori governor Okoth Obado's sponsorship program has seen 104 pioneer students join places of higher learning. In a post on Obado's wife Helen Obado official page, she noted that governor's program has yielded impressive results.

On distributing students results to different grades, program saw candidates reap 11 A- (minus), 25 B+, 27 B, 23 B- (minus), 18/C+, 13 C, 12 C- (minus) 10 D+, and 4Ds.

Helen Obado on her post supported the program attributing the success of candidates to the power of God.

"We take pride in this program and we thank God for His provision and for making it possible for these needy students within our communities, " Helen noted 

Furthermore, Helen assured locals of continuity of the program in collaboration with the governor. 

"Together with the Governor, H. E. Okoth Obado, we will continue supporting this program to accommodate more bright students from poor backgrounds." She assured Migori County residence

"I'm grateful for joint support throughout this journey, " she concluded.
