Agnes Kavindu is the former Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama's ex-wife.
Kavindu shocked Kenyans when she came out claiming that Muthama was allegedly mistreating and even assaulting her.
Kavindu claimed that Muthama had disconnected electricity and water to her house in Machakos.
She also alleged that Muthama had denied her access to their home.
Kavindu accused Muthama of denying her conjugal rights.
Muthama rubbished the allegations terming them malicious.
The former senator maintained that she divorced Kavindu in 1983.
Kavindu who unsuccessfully vied for the Machakos women rep seat in 2017 general election maintained that she is still Muthama's wife.
Apart from politics, Kavindu is said to be a staunch Christian.
She is an evangelist at Kyemutheke AIC church in Mua, Machakos County.
Kavindu also preaches on a local TV and Biblia Husema Radio.
She is also a marriage counsellor at her church.
Kavindu has been quoted saying she will be on the ballot in the 2022 general election for the Machakos Woman Representative seat that she lost to incumbent Joyce Kamene in 2017.
"I will not give up on politics because it's God's wish for me to serve the people," Kavindu said.
Kavindu also maintains that she is still Muthama's legal wife and that the two have a son.
