Deputy President William Ruto has been urged to surrender the properties he allegedly acquired through corruption before the law catches up with him.
Bomachoge Chache MP Alpha Miruka said Ruto has been linked to be corruption.
"DP Ruto has been linked severally to corruption. I wish to urge him to surrender the properties and money he has acquired illegally to avoid shame," he said.
The lawmaker insisted that for corruption to end in this country, top leaders should be prosecuted.
He said President Uhuru Kenyatta may be wasting his time fighting corruption if powerful leaders in government will not be tamed.
"The efforts by President Uhuru Kenyatta to fight corruption will not be successful if people like DP Ruto will not stop grabbing public lands and stealing public funds."
