Over the last few months, the war against corruption has gained an unstoppable momentum with many high-profile Kenyans forced to spend several nights behind the bars as the no-nonsense Director of Public Prosecutions Noordin Haji cracks the whip.

While hailing the President's recent move to deal with corruption, Kisumu Women Representative Rosa Buyu said that those who thought that the President was very soft when handling graft matters, should be shocked by now.

"President Kenyatta has become very decisive and surprised people who thought that he was too soft to face the graft cartels head-on," said the ODM MP in Seme, Kisumu County, on Saturday during the burial of Mama Mary Oliech, the mother to former Harambee Stars skipper Denis Oliech, as quoted by Nation.

On his part, Governor Anyang' Nyong'o lauded the unity deal between the President and ODM leader Raila Odinga saying that their working together will enable Uhuru to leave a healthy legacy when he exits in 2022.
