Renowned businessman and philanthropist Don Bosco Gichana has warned South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro against his continued outbursts against Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i.
On Wednesday, the youthful MP took a swipe on Matiang'i, claiming that he's like a 'hardware without software'. He also dismissed him as an arrogant leader who has no place for ordinary people.
"Wahome Thuku..I will be very honest. Dr William Ruto deserves the presidency. I have interacted with both the DP and Super CS Matiang'i," wrote Osoro.
"He believes to know everything and takes no criticism. He has no time for a 'small man'. I have seen a Kenyan of Asian origin beg for a photo with the good CS a photo??...I have seen CS argue with a mere cameraman over a very small issue in my constituency where he comes from. It really bothered me."
Mr Osoro is one of the lead campaigners of DP William Ruto in Kisii and Nyamira Counties. A fortnight ago, he received the DP in Nyamira.
But Don Bosco, in a Facebook post on Friday, warned that Osoro's recent approach could be detrimental to Dr Ruto's camp, adding that he needs to be careful henceforth.
"My polite and Candid advice to South Mugirango lawmaker Silvanus Osoro. Please as you politic and sell your candidate for presidency desist from insulting our Gusii leaders. You are spoiling instead of making more votes for your candidate.
"Your recent outbursts against CS Matiangi were not in good faith and a large populance of Gusii voters have not been impressed. I've never met CS personally, but the choice of words you used never augered well with me. Omogusii politics is about selling your policies and development and not insults," noted Bosco.
