Mbuki has said she is happily embracing low publicity after the unexpected weight gain that made her go missing from social media regardless of her status, 'Miss Universe' Kenya.

Last week, we outlined some of the reasons that made the curvy lady go missing from social media since early January 2019.

"So... this is why I have been missing since January guys... This is probably the hardest thing I’ve ever had to post. It’s scary putting myself out there like this and being so vulnerable. The short of it is I gained almost 40 kilos (80 lbs) between Sep 2018 and March 2019. Around July last year, I had a big life event happen to me and it just knocked the wind out of me. I was burned out," read her post in part.

The former queen of Universe Kenya is now happy and is enjoying her current 'thick' size, which is about 85 kilograms.

"Ms. Thickums. Low key embracing and enjoying this extra weight while it lasts," she posted.

She had gained weight from 69 kgs to 105 kgs. She, however, started working on it and so far, the progress is good.

Within the first two months, she dropped from 105 kg to 85 kg. Her aim is to go back where she was before things changed, and if possible, lose more weight.
