Kenya has lost a number of great politicians in the course of her history. Some of them battled with the illness in the hospitals around the world while some just died at home.
The following is a list of great Kenyan politicians who died while they were in their respective homes:
William Ole Ntimama
According to his family, the former cabinet minister and the one time the speaker of the national assembly was full of life before he died peacefully. Ntimama had supper with some members of the family at around 10 pm before he went upstairs to his bedroom to sleep. He complained of feeling tired before he slept and died.
Mutula Kilonzo
The former Makueni senator and Senior Council died at his ranch in Maanzoni, Machakos County. He was never sick or battling any disease. Mutula's body was lying, tucked in bed with foam in the mouth. Many theories were built around his death but the truth is yet to come to light.
Joseph Nyamu
The former Gatundu South Member of Parliament died at home after he slipped in his own bathroom. Further details of his death have never come to light up to date.
