Youths from Nyamira led by ODM Youth Leader Denis Marube have supported decisionto go on rampage over the irregular hiring of county workers in the devolved unit.
Marube said youths will stand with the county Deputy Governor Amos Nyaribo who revealed on illegal employment of over 500 people.
"As youths from Nyamira we are now ready for massive demos because the county Governor John Nyagarama seems to be condoning illegal hiring of county workers," he noted.
Mr Marube said the office of the County Secretary Mr Eric Onchana which has been behind irregular appointments must come forth and issue an explanation to the people of Nyamira over the matter.
"Starting next week we are set to protests if the county government will not have explained the illegal hiring of county workers," he added.
Another angered youth Omao Vincent said if the county government of Nyamira does not rescind its decisions in illegal and irregular recruitment within 48 hours, he will move to court and seek appropriate redress.
"Any officer who knows that he/she was appointed through a skewed process should resign instead of waiting for the court battle," said Omao.
