Kenyan Gospel artists are among the highest paid musicians in Kenya.
This can be alluded to their flamboyant lifestyles and flashy cars they drive.
Most have taken their career a notch higher by opening multimillion recording studios.
Here are some of the top recording studios owned by gospel artists.
1. EMB records
The studio is owned by Bahati, famously known as Mtoto wa Mama. The studio has produced hit songs which are currently ruling the Gospel airwaves. This includes Baraka Zako by Rebecca Soki, Gwara Gwara by Mr. Seed, e.t.c.
The studio has three signed artistes; David Wonder, Mr. Seed and newly signed Rebecca Soki.
The studio is located behind TRM mall along Thika Road.
2. Saldido records
The studio is owned by Wilson Abubakar Radido, better known as Willy Pozze.
The studio has some of the modern equipment necessary for producing hit songs. This is where Willy Paul's recent hit songs such as Njiwa ft Nandi, Tempted and Murder etc have been produced. However, the studio has not officially been opened.
3.Lampstand records
The studio is owned by veteran musician Rufftone. It is located in Buruburu. It has produced numerous hit songs like Rufftone's Mungu baba and several hits by Daddy Owen.
