1. Carrots

Carrots contain beta-carotene which is essential to your eyes. Consuming one carrot daily will enable you to have a good vision especially at night.

2. Berries

People who eat berries more often are said to be having good vision than those who rarely consume them. Eye-related diseases like glaucoma and cataracts rarely affect people who eat more berries. They also prevent and slow down blindness.

3. Fish

Fish contains omega 3 fatty acids which are good for your eyes. The fatty acids are good for the dry eyes. The types of fish that are preferred are tuna, salmon, herring and trout.

4. Eggs

The egg protects the eyes from night blindness. The egg yolk contains vitamin A which is responsible for protecting the cornea. 

5. Spinach

Lutein present in spinach is good for your eyes especially in dealing with cataracts. You can decide to blend the raw spinach and drink the juice or cook it before eating.

6. Tomatoes

Tomatoes contain the compound called lycopene, zeaxanthin and lutein which are essential to the eyes. They protect the eyes from getting damaged by light.

7. Legumes

Some legumes like black peas, kidney beans, cashew nuts and walnuts are good for your eyes. They protect eyes from any damage that is related with age.
