Borabu MP Ben Momanyi has been criticized for failing to pay Sh30,000 he bought beer and food at a local pub in Kisii County in April last year.
His constituents said the MP should clear the bill he owes at Windspark club for his own good.
"This is the man who wants to be Nyamira governor in 2022. He has brought shame not only to himself but, also the entire people of Borabu," said John Simba.
Vincent Nyandago said the MP is a conman who should be arrested.
"I have to stand tall and condemn such act .Ben Momanyi must clear his name by clearing the said bill before police hunt him down," said Nyandago.
Onyari Nyagari said; "Momanyi crisscrossed to Kisii county to bring shame to himself. Let him clear the bill."
The Wiper party MP is serving his second term in office and has declared interest in Nyamira gubernatorial seat.
He is a member of Parliamentary Service Commission.
