A Nakuru family is reaching out to Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika and Governor Lee Kinyanjui to help them clear a hospital bill that has left their 25-year-old Freshia Wambui detained in hospital.
Mary Wacuka, Wambui’s sister, said they have been in tears for the last two months when Wambui was admitted in the hospital.
She gave birth but developed complications which saw her spend up to three months at the Nakuru Nursing Home hospital.
The bill shot to Sh334, 000 which the humble family is unable to settle.
Wacuka and Wambui are orphans.
“We are reaching out to our senator Susan Kihika to help us clear the bill and God will bless her,” Wacuka said.
The family is also calling on other well-wishers to help them as the case has left them distraught.
“We are really hard hit by this case. We spent every coin we had and we are now left without anything here,” Wacuka, 28, added.
The orphans have even put on sale the only piece of plot left by their mum, where they reside, in efforts to settle the bill but buyers have kept off empathizing on what would befall the sisters later.
