Borabu MP Ben Momanyi has reiterated that his ambition to become the next Nyamira County governor is unstoppable.
The MP, who was elected on Wiper Party ticket during that last year's polls, argued that he will succeed Governor John Nyagarama.
"I have been behind Nyagarama since 2013 and I am confident that Nyagarama will endorse me to succeed him unlike other contestants. 2022 will not be easy for my opponents because I am ready to give them a run for their money," he stated.
Mr. Momanyi said his opponents who are out to taint his name, won't succeed to stop him from succeeding Nyagarama.
"Some individuals are idling in villages inciting locals to protest unlawfully with an aim to taint my name. I wish assure my opponents that my journey to succeed Governor Nyagarama can't be stopped by unnecessary protests," he noted.
The lawmaker who is serving his second term said constituents should shun local politicians interested in spreading propaganda.
Mr. Momanyi is a close ally of former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka and the two have jointly campaigned together in Gusii.
