Kenyan international striker Allan Wanga took to Social Media to celebrate their wedding anniversary with NTV Reporter Brenda Mulinya.
In an open letter on Facebook, Wanga thanked her for putting up with him all this time.
"Marriage is the union of two hearts, strengthened by love, tested by quarrels, fortified by affection and hardened by life’s ups and downs," reads part of the post.
"The day that commemorates the wedding day is something worth the celebration. But you don’t have to stay with the norm. This is especially beneficial for those who are wedded for many years. Break the ice and add humour to your anniversary card wishes and messages together with the best anniversary gift ideas you could ever have.'
Allan Wanga is one of the most successful Kenyan strikers still active in the game. He made his name at Tusker in 2008 where he won the Kenya Premier League title under coach Francis Kimanzi. He also emerged as the KPL top scorer that season before joining Angolan side Petro Atletico where he also won the league.
Wanga has had an illustrious career that has seen him play in Sudan, Vietnam, Tanzania and Oman.
