Speaking on a live radio broadcast, Luchivya said he ran into Governor Kibwana in Mlolongo who was moving around in his car.

After some time, the sound of wailing sirens rented the air, forcing the Makueni Governor to put his car aside thinking that it was President Uhuru Kenyatta's convoy passing only to be told that it was the convoy of Governor Mutua.

"There is a day when I met with him in Mlolongo when he was in his car moving around. Then after some time there was a burst of wailing sirens. He put his car aside. It was the Governor of Machakos passing. He asked later, "I thought it was the president passing?" He was later told that it was the Governor of Machakos," held Luchivya.

Luchivya made the revelations when he hosted renowned activist Boniface Mwangi.

Mwangi hailed the Makueni Governor as an exemplary leader whose reputation had not been soiled by corruption allegations like other politicians.
