A man canned his son thoroughly after he busted him having sex with a neighbour's daughter in his bedroom.
The incident happened on Saturday evening in Keumbu, Nyaribari Chache in Kisii County.
Bernard Oroo said he abruptly returned home from Keumbu market where he owns a kiosk when he found his son Joseph in the act with the neighbour's daughter.
"My son who is in form three returned home on Friday claiming he was sick only to end up engaging in illicit sex with our neighbour's daughter. I caught him red-handed in his bedroom doing bad manners," said Oroo.
Angered Oroo said he had to beat his son before he reported the matter to the neighbour.
"I only beat my son since I could not risk beating the neighbour's daughter. I later frog-marched my son's lover to their home where I reported the matter," he noted.
Makori Ondari, area community policing official urged parents to be vigilant to ensure their children are not engaging in premarital sex.
"Parents and guardians need to be on high alert to ensure young children don't enter into early marriages," he said.
He asked school going children to first finish school before engaging in marital affairs.
