The two accounts for the Head of State were suspended on March 22nd after a controversial tweet on his handle where the president had promised to fight the corrupt persons in his government irrespective of their relationship.

The tweet sparked sharp reactions countrywide and the State House came out to notify the nation that the accounts had been altered and the tweet was not from the president.

Troubled lawyer Miguna Miguna has however claimed that President Kenyatta intentionally deleted the two accounts.

Through his Twitter account, Miguna said Kenyans forced the president to delete the two accounts.

“Patriotic Kenyans forced Uhuru Kenyatta to delete his Twitter and Facebook accounts and flee the social media which he and his 38,000 bloggers plastered with propaganda manure daily. Now, it is time to chase the son of a thief, tribalist and murderer from State House. Let's go,” he tweeted

The firebrand lawyer is currently in Canada after he was deported in 2018 and despite the courts ruling that he is a Kenyan, the government has declined to allow him back into the country.
