Lunga Lunga MP Khatib Mwashetani has slammed Opposition Leader Raila Odinga, accusing him of trying to destabilise the ruling Jubilee Party.
Mwashetani was first elected through Raila's ODM party in 2013 elections before ditching it and vying through President Uhuru Kenyatta's Jubilee Party, where Deputy President William Ruto is the party's deputy.
While emphasising Ruto's attack against Raila after he declared support for Jubilee administration, Mwashetani said Raila ought to have settled and relaxed after Kenyatta welcomed him through the spirit of a handshake.

"Whenever you're welcomed in someone's house, respect the house. 'Mzee' (Raila) we welcomed you to our house and we need you to have some respect because we are also soldiers. If it's fighting for Jubilee, we've been doing so for long and we'll continue fighting for it," said Mwashetani.
The Jubilee lawmaker was speaking during DP Ruto's tour of the Coast over the weekend.
He told Ruto that the Coast region's leadership was solemnly behind him as he seeks to vie for the presidency in 2022.
"Deputy president, the people of Coast are very humble people. If you show them love, they will never leave you. We will walk with you until we ensure you're the president come 2022," he said.
