He graduated in 2017 from Kenya Institute of Mass Communication after successful completion of his Diploma course in Mass Communication.

Ogora said he opted into farming since getting a job was not easy.

“I pursued communication since that was my childhood dream. But, due to lack of employment, after graduating last year, I decided to fully embark on farming to make ends meet before God blesses me with a job,” he said.

Ogora said he doesn’t regret going into the farming since he was brought up in a hardworking family which prioritised farming.

“Many people talk that I went to school for nothing but I don’t regret since I did well in school. I am doing farming since I am earning better than those employed at Sh20,000 monthly salary,” he noted.

He called on youths who have graduated to stop chasing white collar jobs since there are many youths with good academic certificates are jobless in villages because of prejudice against investing time in getting their hands dirty on the farm.

Ogora also rears over 40 chickens and sell eggs that sustained him in his college years.
