Education minister Amina Mohammed released Kenya Certificate for Primary Education exams on Monday, the first ever since she assumed office in January.
On Sunday, President Uhuru Kenyatta preempted examination released, in what was seen as a slip of the tongue during his visit in Juja constituency.
The year, over 1.2 million students sat for the exams, the 15th since introduction of free education in 2003 and the Narc government.
In his speech on Sunday which was in concurrence with Amina's Uhuru insited that all candidates will be absorbed to various secondary schools, an exercise he said will be done by December 23rd.
Despite the examination being hit by few cases of irregularities and high numbers of teen pregnancy, here are seven facts about the 2018 examination.
