Speaking in Katangi on Saturday, Mwangangi said there's need for the school's principal and board of management to be investigated over bad leadership.

Mwangangi said the school's poor leadership has consequently compromised its education standards.

He threatened to organize demonstrations if the school's leadership is not suspended.

"I'm telling you that if by Wednesday the principal with his board of management won't be suspended for investigations, I will lead demos up to Nairobi until these people are thrown out," Mwangangi said.

Mwangangi trashed the claims that he's politicising the incident.

The politician said he's only after ensuring the crooked ways of the school's leadership is dealt with.

He said the school's administration has been locking out parents and church in decisions concerning the school.

"I'm not politicizing the incident, I'm only interested in ensuring the school's leadership is on track. The school should go back to the community and the church to be included in decision-making," he said.

Last week, four students from the school drowned in River Athi, a tragedy that shook the whole county.

Two teachers have been charged with manslaughter and negligence over the incident.
