The hotly contested 2017 elections seems still fresh in Deputy President William Ruto's mind, months even after the golden handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga.
At Trans Nzoia on Friday, Ruto slammed Saboti MP Caleb Amisi, adding that he will not enjoy development in his constituency if he doesn't decamp 'Tibiim and Tialala' team.
"We shall ensure we have technical training colleges across all constituencies in this county.
"However, we shall not do it at Saboti until the MP stops singing Tibiim and Tialala politics," he said in reference to Amisi.
The tw slogans were predominantly used by Raila Odinga's NASA team during 2017 polls.
Mr. Amisi, the only ODM legislator in the constituency, is a close ally of Odinga and one of his consistent defender.
While ODM has since reconciled with Jubilee, Ruto seems to never let go the old grudge.
