The photo showed pupils in a classroom with flooded water.

The mud-walled classroom also has no desks for the pupils. They are forced to sit on stones amid the flooding water.

Kenyans on social media hammered the little-known MP as they questioned on how he uses the annual National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF).

Every MP gets up to Sh100 million for his constituency.

Mwambire, however, said the money has not been enough as there are many projects in the constituency to be attended to calling on his constituents to help him lobby for more resources.

“I found the constituency in dire need of development and I am in the process of implementing projects that will see the lives of Ganze people improve,” Mwambire said.

He added: “We plan to complete all of the projects that have not yet been completed. We are will seek donors and hold fundraisers to help us raise the money.”
