Speaking on Saturday, the parliamentarian said that the ongoing good blood between the two will not live long, and Uhuru will be the next victim of Odinga's political tricks.

He said that the same way Odinga seems to be struggling to separate the President and his Deputy President William Ruto, he will soon turn his cannons to the President.

"Raila alikuja kwa handshake huku mkono mmoja umeshika silaha ambao sasa anautumia kupiga walio nyuma ya rais. (Raila never had a good intention and is now fighting some people behind the President)," he said.

He was speaking on Radio Jambo's Mazungumzo Waziwazi show on Saturday morning.

The firebrand parliamentarian lawmaker noted that Uhuru could soon land on the receiving end and must take great care and develop the third eye to keep himself safe.

"Atakata walio nyuma kisha atamshughulikia pia aliye mbele (when done with the ones behind the president, he will deal with the main man)," he added.

However, the remarks were rubbished by Makadara MP and close Raila ally George Aladwa who insisted that Raila came to the negotiations with clean hands and has no hidden tricks.

"Sisi hatukuona silaha mahali, tuliona mkono was salamu (we only saw a handshake not any weapons)," said the lawmaker who leads Raila's Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party in Nairobi county.

Ichungwah's concerns come at a time when a section of Jubilee politicians have questioned Raila's closeness to the President, claiming that he is using it to fight the DP ahead of 2022 polls.

However, Uhuru has repeatedly told them off, insisting that their union will remain intact for the sake of the nation.
