Bonchari MP John Oyioka has accused a police officer attached at Kerina police station of allegedly impregnating a school girl.
The MP while speaking on Wednesday at Kerina primary school said he will ensure the police officer whose identity is yet to be revealed is arrested to face prosecution.
"I will not condone police officers mandated to protect our people to continue misusing school girls. The officer at Kerina who took advantage of the minor must face the law," he said.
The lawmaker warned parents against exchanging their daughters for money to police officers.
Oyioka further fired warning shots to elders defending men who are caught chasing young girls for sex.
"Elders must stop negotiating with sex predators. Sex offenders belong to jail for the sake of ensuring the bright future lives for young girls," said Oyioka.
He urged parents to take their children to school adding that those found accepting young girls to be married won't be spared by the law.
The MP assured that he will allocate CDF bursaries fairly to all needy children in the constituency.
