It now emerges that retired President Mwai Kibaki observed a strict diet, not due to doctor's suggestions or health reasons but out of his own liking for specific foods.
According to the Nairobian, the ex-Head of State enjoyed his breakfast accompanied with weetabix snacks.
Similarly, he also loved his tea served with croissants and fruits before embarking on his national leadership responsibilities.
At lunchtime, his most favorite dish was chicken or fish.
For supper, Kinaki did not mind lamb chops, broccoli and mukimo.
He also took grilled salmons, samosas and miteta soup.
For booze, the retired head of state enjoyed bottles of whitecap.
Kibaki came to power on his National Rainbow Coalition (NARC) party in 2002 after beating Uhuru Kenyatta who was running on a Kanu ticket.
In 2007, Uhuru supported Kibaki and in 2013 he inherited the presidency from him.
