A senior campaigner linked to DP William Ruto's camp has raised questions on how State House released money meant for International Youths Day.
Antony Kibagendi, the Youth Secretary in Ruto's office seemed to blame Office of the President over allegations that thousands of youths were not paid their dues.
"We had a successful event until certain individuals decided to erode their integrity.
"Each youth was supposed to get Sh1000 for the event but some received half while others went home hands empty," he told Egesa FM.
In the process, he added, millions were swindled by unnamed individuals from OP, a claim that could further deteriorate relationship between Harambee House and Annex.
Last week, comedian Walter Mong'are alias Nyambane fought back claims that he defrauded youths using the annual event.
"I am not aware of any money lost. Those are just creations," he said.
Nyambane works at State House and is incharge of the youths docket.
President Uhuru Kenyatta was the chief guest in the August 12th event at Kisii School.
