The County Government of Mombasa through the Department of Education, ICT and MV2035 has announced that they will be issuing financial assistance to form one student as well as needy students in the county.
Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho through his social media handle has announced that starting Thursday this week, his government in conjunction with MV2035 will be disbursing cheques to the beneficiaries of the form one Governor’s Award as well as issuing bursaries forms for those in secondary schools.
"The County Government of Mombasa through the Department of Education, ICT and MV2035 is disbursing cheques to beneficiaries of the form one Governor’s Award. The exercise will run for a week which will also include issuance of bursary forms for secondary schools and special needs from Thursday," he posted.
The exercise which is expected to run for a week in all sub-counties in Mombasa will take place at the following centres:
1. Chaani Social hall, this will be more accessible for those who reside in Changamwe and its environs
2. Mikindani Social hall
3. Kisauni Sub County Administration office (Kisauni water)
4. Mwakirunge chief's camp
5. Kongowea Ward Administrator office (Kongowea market)
6. 6. Likoni social hall
7. Tononoka social hall, this will be an ideal venue for those around the central district of Mombasa City.
A total of Sh45 million will be used to the exercise.
