Governor 001 Hassan Ali Joho loves mingling with people from varied social strata.
Joho also usually has time for each age group including his young followers. This made him try a rap dis competition with a teenager who outclassed him.
The Mombasa Governor starts by dissing the boy about his physique and said he was not good enough in the rap game. The boy responded with super lyrics but full of respect as the crowd applauded his prowess. Joho had to muffle some words as he tried to keep up with the talented kid.
After realising that he could not keep up with the competitor, Joho sought the help of his Kilifi County counterpart, Governor 003, Amason Kingi.
Kingi was quick to distance himself from the rap competition by stating that he was not a fan of rap.
The young man continued to give catchy Swahili lyrics and Joho had a final piece of advice to him. He wished him well as he pursued his music passion but told him to prioritise schooling over music.
