DP William Ruto's decision to carry Sh10 million for goats auctioning in Kajiado has raised sharp debate among leaders.
A section of Gusii leaders have reacted following DP Ruto's decision to carry the huge sum of money to the goat auction.
Victor Swanya, a Nyamira politician said only rich people in the country enjoy comfort.
"It is shocking that DP Ruto can carry Sh10 million to a single goat auction event yet several people in deep villages are poor," he said on Monday.
The vocal politician further claimed that DP Ruto is dishing out money which he has stolen.
"Ruto is giving out public money he has stolen to buy goats. Kenyans will continue suffering in deep villages," he stated.
Okioma Omwancha said Ruto should donate the huge money he has to children homes.
"I am urging Ruto to give the money to children homes for orphans to get food and clothing," he said.
Isaac Motari, a Jubilee youth leader in Kisii County said there is nothing wrong DP Ruto carrying the money to the event because earned the money through his hard work.
