The school had been closed due to the dilapidated nature of its toilets which posed a health hazard to the pupils.

Nyamete on Tuesday  said that the school obtained a letter from public health officers for the re-opening of the school

"The school was officially re-opened on Tuesday after the public health officers toured the school and got impressed with the school's efforts to construct toilets for pupils. The school got a donor who accepted to facilitate the construction of the toilets," said Nyamete.

The headteacher said parents whose children did not resume school on Tuesday should report back on Wednesday.

"The school operations are now going on well. Our school was closed because of the village politics surrounding the school but God fought for us until we got a well-wisher who offered to fund the construction of the toilets," noted Nyamete.

A public health officer,  Fredrick Musila also confirmed that the school was re-opened after the week-long closure.

"We issued a letter to close the school on June 14, 2019, due to lack of toilets. I wish to confirm that the school management is doing a good job to construct the toilets," he said.

Musila said the pupils will be sharing toilets with Nyamerako Secondary School students until the toilets under construction are complete.
