Nairobi Governor Sonko’s first daughter, Saumu Mbuvi has paid her late mum a tribute in an emotional message. Saumu who took to social media to celebrate 10 years after the death of her mother, Njeri Wangui in a message that will leave you in tears.
"I still can’t believe today marks 10years since you left us. I know It will never get easier losing you to death when I still needed you so much.’’
‘’But in your honour, I will live a life that would have made you proud of me if you were still here. I love you and miss you, mum. #sleepwellmama,’’ she wrote.
Her late mother was Governor Sonko’s first wife. Governor Sonko has been termed a polygamous man, who has had several wives.
According to Governor Sonko’s Facebook post, the late Njeri Wangui was his high school sweetheart. The two while still in a relationship had Saumu Mbuvi.
Saumu, who is a mother of one revealed that it is never easy to lose a mother when she needed her most. Currently, Governor Sonko is married to Primrose, who only makes public appearances when much needed. She has a daughter, Sandra, who is the third daughter of Mike Sonko.
