Love in a relationship creates space for intimate conversations where the parties involved can share what might be bothering them.
However, some couples do not take the time to find out how their partner is fairing on.
Your partner can be depressed although some of the signs are not easy to notice.
Here are signs your partner is depressed.
1. Spending much time alone
If your partner was social then all of a sudden they prefer spending time alone, they might be depressed. Another sign is spending too time on video games, watching TV or sleeping.
2. Losing interest in what they enjoyed
When your partner shifts all their attention from what they really enjoyed before to other activities without a reason, they might be depressed. If they also react to what happens around them with sadness and anger, this might be an indication of depression.
3. Always tired
Depression results in lack of enough sleep. Your partner may wake up in the middle of the night or early in the morning. Excess thoughts keep the brain awake which results in fatigue during the day.
Sleep disorders have been found to be one of the signs of depression.
