You must be prepared to live with people with different characters.

A self-centred person never bothers himself or herself about the welfare of other people.

It is all about him or her.

Here are three steps for dealing with self-centered people:

1. Analyse every situation before deciding

Self-centred individuals often hit people with their personal demands.

The demands can leave you uncomfortable.

You must find out how the decisions he or she makes will affect you.

2. Weigh your options

You must consider your options when you engage in an argument with someone of this nature.

A self-centered person will make suggestions that favour him or her.

Find time to look at each of the suggestions critically before making any decision in the long run.

Always weigh all the options available before relating with self-centred persons.

3. Learn from your past

The past experiences will teach you some things concerning these persons.

If his or her acts were not favourable, do not agree with them.

Do not assume the person is different now.

Self-centred persons rarely change.

They will always act the same in whichever situation.
